Windows Vista Operating System Set-up
Go to: Start > Control Panel
On the left hand side of the window, select Classic View
Double click on Network and Sharing Center
During this, windown vista will display a User Account Control window to confirm that you want to make changes.
When you see this window, select Continue to continue the configuration process.
On the left hand side of the Network and Sharing center window, select Manage network connections.
Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.
Un-tick the box next to 'Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)'.
Ensure that the box next to ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ is ticked. Highlight this setting and then click on ‘Properties’. It will bring up a
window that looks like this:
Make sure that ‘Obtain IP Address Automatically’ and ‘Obtain DNS Server Address
Automatically’ are both checked.
Click 'OK', and 'OK' again on the Local Area Connection Properties.
Reboot you computer.
