The system is designed to connect with a standard network card, like those installed in many modern computers.

In your apartment you will find a network point.

To connect your PC, Laptop or Mac simply plug a standard Ethernet Patch cable (not a cross-over cable) into the network point in your apartment and into the network point on your computer for reference, the point on your computer will likely be marked with the word ‘Ethernet’.

Network Settings
In order to connect to the network and to the Internet, your computer must be configured with the TCP/IP protocol. Instructions on how to do this are provided for Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Apple Mac OSX Panther.
