In order to connect to the Internet you must correctly configure your web browser. Instructions on how to do this are provided for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer then go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections. A window like that shown below should be displayed:

Make sure that ‘Never dial a connection’ is selected.
Next, click on ‘LAN Settings’. A window like that shown on the next page should be displayed:

Make sure all boxes are unchecked.
Close the window and restart Internet Explorer.

Netscape Navigator
Open Netscape Navigator then go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies. A window like the one shown below should be displayed:

Make sure that ‘Direct connection to the Internet’ is selected.
