Go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel
Click on the Network icon
The network window will appear, and will look something like this:

Click on TCP/IP, and then click on Properties
The TCP/IP Window will appear, and will look like this:

Make sure you have ‘Obtain IP Address Automatically’ checked.
